TECHNODOM and SULPAK punished for improper labeling

State inspectors for control and Supervision of the Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shymkent (hereinafter - KTRM), according to the complaint of an individual, an unscheduled inspection was completed last week with respect to such control entities as Arena S LLP (Sulpak) and Techodom Operator JSC (Technodom Operator - they are popularly called "Trading Houses"), for compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Technical Regulation", in particular, product labeling and a single product circulation mark on the market of the member States of the Customs Union of the EAC (Eurasian Compliance).

1. JSC "Techodom Operator" (Technodom Operator):

For example, if the Mix RETRO GENESIS video game consoles and the ZMG-007 electric meat grinder lacked instructions for use in the state language; in the FM modulator with USB charging devices, there was no single sign of product circulation on the market of the Customs Union member states on the packaging, and in the AXION meat grinder prefix, in addition to a Single sign, there was no instruction at all by usage.

In the Assembly of the ice cream maker Ice cream, BOSCH had no information in both the state and official languages. There was no single EAC sign, moreover, there was no instruction in the state language.

2. By Arena S LLP (Sulpak Trading House):

In the TV room antenna BAS 5310, there was no information in the state and official languages in the instructions for use.

In the Multimedia Speakers B16 column on the packaging, there was no single product circulation mark on the market of the member states of the Customs Union, as well as there was no information in the state and official languages in the instructions for use.

In the Haier NK 600 teapot, the MiVue C520 DVR and the GENESIS gaming console, there was no information in the official language in the instructions for use.

The absence of the above norms means a violation of the requirements of the Technical Regulations TR CU 004/2011 and TR CU 020/2011 and will certainly create inconvenience for the ordinary consumer.

Since the head offices, including the management of the above-mentioned control entities are located in Almaty, all the materials of the unscheduled inspection were transferred to the Department of KTRM in Almaty to take appropriate measures in accordance with the "Code of Administrative Offenses" of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department has brought the above-mentioned entities to administrative responsibility.
