Invitation to a press conference

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in a press conference dedicated to the launch and presentation of the "National Portal for Trade Facilitation". The trade portal of Kazakhstan was created by the International Trade Center jointly with JSC "Center for Trade Policy Development "QazTrade" and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the "Ready4Trade Central Asia" project.

Trade facilitation portals are implemented in 23 countries and are recognized as advanced solutions in documenting cross-border procedures. The introduction of the trade portal of Kazakhstan will increase the competitiveness of the country's private sector, will contribute to future reforms in the field of trade facilitation, and will also help the implementation of the WTO TFA. The trade portal will contribute to the implementation of the key provisions of the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation, will identify opportunities for facilitating, harmonizing, standardizing and automating the formalities necessary for import, export and transit at the border. The portal will increase transparency and predictability of border formalities and facilitate comparative analysis of Kazakhstan's trade procedures with other countries. Thanks to the introduction of the portal, there will be opportunities for customs reforms.
