Today was a busy day. Many meetings were held with members of the government and businessmen of India.
At the end of the day, mutual cooperation, investments in various projects, opportunities for the creation of industrial cooperation.
With my colleague, the Co–Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on the Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Indian side, the Minister of Oil and Natural Gas and the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs of India, Hardeep Singh Puri, we discussed many important issues for the interaction of the two countries.
Both Kazakhstan and India are very interesting to each other and are interested in deepening trade and
investment relations. And we are not only looking at the current moment, but also assessing the future potential of the two countries. According to forecasts, by 2030 India can become the 3rd economy in the world, and Kazakhstan is the most important point of overland transit of goods from Europe to Asia, including the South. Mutual interest is also fueled by a significant reserve in trade: we are ready to additionally supply New Delhi with about 80 types of goods (this is a list of 6 figures of the HS) for about $ 600 million. Now mutual trade amounts to a little more than $2 billion, of which $1.5 billion is our export to India
