The event, attended by more private and public organizations involved in foreign trade activities, provided an opportunity to discuss necessary vectors and identify approaches to export development and promotion.
The USAID Central Asia Trade Program aims to improve trade cooperation in the region and expand economic opportunities for CAR countries. This includes harmonizing customs and border control procedures, strengthening public-private partnerships in trade and investment, strengthening cross-border collaboration among businesses, and addressing gender issues in trade.
The program will also encourage the development of an ecosystem of trade promotion service providers, such as certification, marketing, financial, transport and logistics, and other services necessary for exporting goods. This will strengthen the capacity of Central Asian enterprises to meet buyers' requirements for cost and quality of goods.
QazTrade JSC, a one-stop exporter support operator, is a Kazakhstani partner of the USAID Central Asia Trade Program.
