Arman Abenov held a meeting with the delegation of the European Investment Bank and the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan

Today, March 16 this year, Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Technical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Committee) Arman Abenov and representatives of the subordinate organization of the Committee took part in a working meeting with the delegation of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the EU delegation in Kazakhstan.

To date, the EIB is considering the implementation of the following projects:

- Provision of technical assistance and investment grants for micro-crediting of investment projects for the implementation of Kazakhstan programs aimed at solving the problems of climate change and environmental protection;

- Additional investments for social projects,

- Projects for the development of long-term cooperation with EU institutions.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation and financing in such topical areas as:

on the modernization of the laboratory base;
involvement of international experts on the implementation of international standards in the field of carbon neutrality;
the possibility of obtaining appropriate recognition from the authorized EU bodies for the certification of organic products supplied to the EU market;
establishing partnerships with European CE certification organizations;
financing of participation of Kazakhstani schoolchildren in the International Olympiad on Standards.
