1.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the "revolving scheme" to curb the growth of prices for NWPT in the Kyzylorda region

One of the effective tools to curb the growth of prices for socially important food products is preferential lending to retail facilities through a "revolving scheme" - the allocation of borrowed funds by akimats for participants of the trading system at a preferential interest.

This allows retail chains to expand the volume of products purchased from local manufacturers, including through the conclusion of forward contracts, and manufacturers to fix the selling price for their goods.

Receiving preferential loans, retail chains assume counter obligations to curb prices for certain volumes of certain types of products.

As a result, these goods are sold at prices below market prices by an average of 15-20%. The situation is similar with manufacturers who, in exchange for a preferential facilitated loan, undertake to supply a certain volume of products at a reduced fixed cost.

Recall that such a scheme provides working capital for manufacturers and for networks, allows them to build medium- and long-term price balancing programs. Thus, the cost of socially significant food products is fixed at the time of conclusion of the contract. This avoids significant seasonal price fluctuations.

In the Kyzylorda region, 1.9 billion tenge was allocated for the "revolving scheme". According to the "revolving scheme", 973 million tenge was allocated to 18 business entities. Of the 18 entrepreneurs who received this loan, 19 socially significant food products and products of the stabilization fund are supplied and sold at below-market prices in social corners opened on the basis of an agreement in 36 social stores and 14 large supermarkets located in Kyzylorda under the SEC "Baikonur".

Today, in all social stores, bread at 55 tenge, sugar at 263 tenge, vegetable oil at 630 tenge, potatoes at 130 tenge, carrots at 130 tenge, onions at 65 tenge, cabbage at 90 tenge, grade 1 flour at 135 tenge, buckwheat groats at 415 tenge, rice at 210 tenge, pasta at 200 tenge, beef at 1650 tenge, chicken (hams) at 785 tenge, eggs at 32 tenge, milk at 280 tenge, kefir at 225 tenge, cottage cheese is sold 40 tenge each.
