2.9 billion tenge has been allocated for the "revolving scheme" to curb the growth of prices for NWPT in the East Kazakhstan region

One of the effective tools to curb the growth of prices for socially important food products is preferential lending to retail facilities through a "revolving scheme" - the allocation of borrowed funds by akimats for participants of the trading system at a preferential interest.

This allows retail chains to expand the volume of products purchased from local manufacturers, including through the conclusion of forward contracts, and manufacturers to fix the selling price for their goods.

By receiving preferential loans, retail chains assume counter obligations to restrain prices for certain volumes of certain types of products.

As a result, these goods are sold at prices below market prices by an average of 15-20%. The situation is similar with manufacturers who, in exchange for a preferential facilitated loan, undertake to supply a certain volume of products at a reduced fixed cost.

Recall that such a scheme provides working capital for manufacturers and for networks, allows them to build medium- and long-term price balancing programs. Thus, the cost of socially significant food products is fixed at the time of conclusion of the contract. This avoids significant seasonal price fluctuations.

According to the East Kazakhstan region, 2.9 billion tenge was allocated for the "revolving scheme". For example, today, within the framework of the turnover scheme of Agrofirma Prirechnoye LLP, fruit and vegetable products (potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onions) are sold at reduced fixed prices at the points of the stabilization fund of the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey. In the retail facilities of the specialized organization "JSC "SEC "Ertis" potatoes, cabbage and carrots are sold 82 tenge/kg. The product stocks correspond to the maximum volumes stipulated by the agreements on the implementation of price stabilization mechanisms. Potatoes will be sold until May 15, onions and carrots until May 1, cabbage until April 1, fruit and vegetable products are sold at 82 tg/kg. The products of the grocery group are sold on an ongoing basis. Also, at fixed prices, according to the contracts concluded with Semey Qus LLP, Krupnoff LLP, the supply of eggs of the 1st category 320 tenge / dozen to the retail network continues, followed by sale at retail outlets at 330 tenge / dozen.
