Yerzhan Kazanbayev, Chairman of the Trade Committee, answered the question of where to see the threshold prices for socially important food products (NWPT) and where to send complaints.
First of all, Yerzhan Kazanbayev explained that the thresholds for the NWPT are set by akimats for each region separately and do not apply to other regions of the country.
"Information about marginal prices is open and posted in open sources, including the Adilet portal and the official websites of akimats," the Chairman of the Committee noted.
Yerzhan Kazanbayev also told which government agencies can be contacted with complaints about price increases.
The first channel is akimats, since today local executive bodies have a tool to control trade surcharges, rewards in retail chains, so that the price does not exceed 15% of the trade premium with the involvement of public control.
The second mechanism is the Consumer Protection Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration and the territorial departments of the Committee. And also to the Trade Committee, where very soon there will be an opportunity to apply through territorial departments, and you can also apply through the e-tutynushy platform, through which you can also file a complaint against a store that overstates prices for NWPT.
The third state agency is the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its territorial departments, where you can contact in case of suspicion that there are facts of creating an artificial shortage of food or price speculation.
After that, certain response measures will be taken by akimats, MIT and AZRK.
