The state maintains a balance between providing the domestic market with food and exports

This was stated today by the chairman of the Trade Committee Yerzhan Kazanbayev.
As the chairman of the Trade Committee stressed, the decision to introduce a ban is made by the Interdepartmental Commission on Foreign Trade Activities, which involves both government agencies and business entities, including industry associations.
At the same time, "an analysis of the situation for each product is carried out, the necessary calculations and forecasts of the impact of the introduction of foreign trade restrictions are made."
As it was explained, "only after all calculations and discussions are made, decisions are made. That is, every restriction imposed is backed up by numbers."
At the initiative of a business or a government agency, an Interdepartmental Commission may cancel a previously imposed restriction.
He also said that work is underway to increase the production of priority crops intended for socially significant goods. "In addition, we are working on a mutually beneficial exchange of goods during peak seasons with our closest neighbors - traditional suppliers of some vegetables and fruits," Kazanbayev said.
In addition, the definition of the production-consumption balance will allow you to determine the surpluses that can be exported.
With the full launch of the National Commodity Distribution System, small commodity producers (LPH) are connected to the active trading process. Involving them in modern, civilized trade will change the picture not only of the security of the domestic market, but also of export potential.
In this case, the additional income that farmers will be able to receive will again result in an increase in production volumes.
