Stop Fake!

Currently, information is being distributed in the networks about the supposedly uniform register of threshold values of prices for socially significant food products for the 1-2-3 quarters of 2022 for the whole of Kazakhstan. The information contains appeals: "Go to any store, it will be one tenge higher - call the akimat and the store will be closed immediately. The sanitary and epidemiological station, antimonopoly officers, statisticians will arrive and immediately close the store. Demand these prices from sellers."

The Ministry of Trade and Integration informs that the information disseminated is FAKE!

Threshold prices are set for each region separately by local executive bodies and do not apply to other regions of the country.

The prices indicated in the information message were posted by the Akimat of the Almaty region in open sources for public discussion of the level of threshold values of retail prices for NWT in the region.

It should be noted that the threshold values are approved for monitoring and observing price fluctuations and serve as a guideline for assessing the state of market prices for NWT.

If the threshold values are exceeded, marginal retail prices are introduced, failure to comply with which entails an administrative fine.

 

We appeal to the residents of Kazakhstan to trust only official sources.
