Inspections are underway in the markets for the sale of diesel fuel, auto chemicals, building materials, electrical engineering

Today, on November 19, 2021, Bakhyt Sultanov held an online meeting with representatives of core non-governmental organizations (NGOs), where he spoke about technical regulation tools to protect the domestic market.

So, since the first days of the Ministry's formation, a campaign has been conducted to prevent "gray" certificates in the domestic market. Since last year, the state control system has been completely revised and an information system has been developed for a full cycle of traceability of both domestic and imported products. And the state control is reoriented from the control of the manufacturer/seller to the control of the products themselves.

According to the minister, "in case of violations, a sampling norm is established, and after the results of independent laboratory tests, rapid response measures are taken in the form of withdrawal or destruction of products."

Also, within the framework of the adopted reform, inspections are provided without visiting businesses. Now large-scale inspections on the new model by conducting a comprehensive analysis are currently underway in the markets for the sale of diesel fuel, auto chemicals, building materials, electrical engineering.

The Technical Regulation Committee has the right to start checking on the basis of information received from information systems, mass media or appeals from individuals and legal entities.

Speaking about the strengthening of the role of public organizations in improving the quality of products, the Minister cited examples when conscientious profile associations are directly involved in this.

So, after the raids on the border, together with the cement association, the facts of issuing so-called "gray" certificates by certification bodies were revealed.

"The effect of excluding counterfeit in the market has affected the growth of production," Bakhyt Sultanov explained at the same time.

This year, according to the cement Association, the industry has reached a historical record - more than 11 million tons of products have already been produced in 10 months.

A similar example was given by the Minister of automotive chemicals, when, at the request of the industry association, the Ministry conducted a state control and revealed the facts of the sale of low-quality coolant, as a result of which an administrative fine of more than 6 million tenge was imposed.

As Bakhyt Sultanov noted, the timely improvement of legislation in the field of accreditation, certification, standardization and control has created conditions for the formation of a good-Soviet business and the development of healthy competition.

To complete his speech, the head of the department called on industry associations and public associations to be active "providers" of the legitimate struggle for quality, using independent monitoring.
