The Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Technical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan will prevent violations in the sale of diesel fuel

The Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that in connection with mass complaints in the media of Kazakhstanis about the quality of diesel fuel sold in retail outlets in the domestic market of the country, as well as in order to prevent and prevent these violations in a timely manner, it conducts preventive control and supervision.

In order to verify this fact, the DKTRM in Nur-Sultan conducts an inspection without visiting the subject (object) of control and supervision in respect of 53 entities engaged in the retail sale of motor fuel at gas stations in the territory of the city of Nur-Sultan.

In addition, in the regions of Kazakhstan, Departments of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology also carry out preventive monitoring without visiting.

At the same time, diesel fuel is subject to confirmation and assessment of compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 013/2011 "On requirements for automotive and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil".
Currently, based on the results of the study of information, including a video posted on the website of the information portal "Tengrinews" on the topic: "Kazakhstanis complain massively about the quality of diesel fuel" (https://tengrinews.kz/kazakhstan_news/kazahstantsyi-massovo-jaluyutsya-kachestvo-dizelnogo-topliva-450580/) recommendations on the elimination of the detected violations have been sent to all the above-mentioned control subjects.

Recall, in accordance with Article 41, the subjects of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Technical Regulation" (Law) are granted the right to independently eliminate violations identified by the results of preventive control and supervision without visiting the subject of control and supervision, which reduces the administrative burden.

At the same time, in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 35 of the Law, a necessary condition for the circulation on the market of products for which technical regulations have been put into effect is its compliance with the requirements established by technical regulations, confirmed in accordance with the established procedure.
Within the framework of the Law, it is prohibited to put into circulation products for which technical regulations have been put into effect, which have not passed conformity assessment, as well as without the availability of conformity assessment documents or in the absence of information about the availability of such documents in the register of technical regulation or unified registers of issued or accepted conformity assessment documents of the Eurasian Economic Union.
