Gaztrade and Evrazkabel discussed increasing the share of exports

During a working visit to Almaty city and Almaty region, the General Director of "QazTrade" JSC Azamat Askaruly got acquainted with the work of "Eurazkabel" Trade House LLP and discussed with the General Director of the Company Andrey Prikhodko ways to increase productivity and expand the export share of the trading house.

Evrazkabel plant, a subsidiary of KMK INVESTMENT Group, is a participant of the Export Acceleration Program-2021. The company has been represented in the Kazakhstan market since 2018. The project is implemented within the framework of public-private partnership on the territory of the Industrial Zone in Almaty city. Today, the plant is one of the major manufacturers of cable and wire products, producing annually about 7 thousand products and meeting the needs of the construction industry of the country. The company's turnover is more than 1 million US dollars. In general, the latest equipment and technological lines of the plant put into operation allow the plant to produce the entire range of cable products with cross-section up to 1600 mm² and voltage from 0.66 kV to 330 kV.

With an export share of 15%, the Company has experience in supplying its products to the EAEU markets. The Company plans to expand the share of its presence and enter the markets of foreign countries Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, UAE, and the Balkan Peninsula countries.

During the meeting, the participants discussed further joint activities to increase the share of exports, including assistance to QazTrade JSC in finding new partners and markets for cable and wire products, participation of TD Evrazkabel in major international exhibitions, and measures presented by the state in terms of support for existing exporters.
