By 200 million. $ contracts concluded based on the results of trade and economic missions

Today, on October 7, 2021, Nuraly Bokeikhanov, Deputy General Director of JSC "TSTP "QazTrade", spoke at a briefing in the CCS about the tools of service support for exporters.

The operator of such support since 2020 is JSC "QazTrade".

"After a year break, we returned to the practice of conducting trade and economic missions. Since the beginning of the year, 7 such missions have been conducted in Azerbaijan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of concluded contracts and memoranda is about $200 million," Nuraly Bokeikhanov said at the CCS site.

Thus, locomotives and electric transformers will be supplied to Dushanbe. In Azerbaijan – furniture and home textiles, in Uzbekistan - water filters, electronic door locks and professional household chemicals for hotels, IT services.

Export contracts were also signed for the supply of dairy products, food and technical salt, pasta, meat products and delicacies, household and industrial chemicals.

According to the speaker, QazTrade is also working on attracting investments in export-oriented projects.

So, he noted, "we are working on cases for integration into global value chains."

QazTrade has prepared an analysis on the state of aluminum processing production in Kazakhstan. A potential mechanism for the organization of production in Kazakhstan of aluminum products and components with high added value (extrusion blanks, profiles, etc.) for the international holding Constellium is presented.

We are working with automakers to increase the share of localization. In the process of implementation, there are projects for the manufacture in Kazakhstan of mats for Hyundai cars (AGF-group LLP and Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan LLP) and cable and wire products of domestic production for SaryarkaAvtoProm cars with a further focus on export.

The planned effect in 2021 is $100 million in export revenue.
