45 embassies of Kazakhstan abroad promote Kazakh products

House of Ministries, August 12, 2021, Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev, said that the necessary tools are concentrated in the competence of our department to deepen trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and key foreign countries. These are intergovernmental commissions, interregional forums, direct and indirect measures to support exporters.

In order to prevent a further decline in the volume of non-resource exports, the Ministry systematically provides support to export-oriented enterprises. These are more than 20 instruments of financial and non-financial support.

An important area of the Ministry's activity in terms of supporting exporters is the timely identification and prompt response to emerging problems in the export of products.

"Today, 45 of our embassies in the markets of high and moderate export interest have started actively promoting Kazakh products and working out issues related to the organization of B2B negotiations," Kairat Torebayev said.

It is noted that above about 14% of exporters previously noted the presence of a problem with obtaining analytical support. In this regard, the Ministry has qualitatively strengthened this block of work.

During the first half of the year, almost 90 enterprises were given recommendations to improve their export activities and search for counterparties, 20 industry express digests were prepared, 97 express analyses with point recommendations for enterprises to bring their products to foreign markets.

In order to increase the recognition of domestic products on foreign markets, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, country export programs have been developed for effective interaction with foreign institutions.
