50 exporters will be transferred to Alibaba

On August 12, 2021, Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev, speaking at the board, said that the Ministry is actively promoting exports through electronic sales channels.

So, on the platform Alibaba.com within the framework of the two phases of the program, 100 domestic companies were withdrawn, of which 62 are currently active.

It should also be noted that more than 4 thousand Kazakhstani goods have already been placed on the trading platform, among which domestic textiles, food products, etc. are popular.

At the same time, the total sales of the program participants amounted to $ 45 million. The Ministry is also actively working to expand business opportunities in terms of access to other international trading platforms.

"I would like to note that the Roadmap for the implementation of the Nur Otan party's Election program "The Path of Change: a decent life for everyone!" has set us specific tasks to increase the number of active exporters to 1000 by 2025.Based on the success of the first stage of acceleration in the second stage, we are expanding the number of enterprises to 100, and will also cover 5 industries and 5 countries. Another 50 exporters will also be brought to the international electronic platform Alibaba, " Kairat Torebayev concluded.
