In June of this year, an online service for monitoring prices for NWT was launched in a pilot mode eprice.gov.kz. The main task of the platform is the formation of a single database of prices for NWT and the formation of an interactive environment for data visualization.
This will allow real-time monitoring of the prices of NWT and, in general, analyze their changes in the context of regions.
At the moment eprice.gov.kz uses multiple data sources:
The first is the online service derekhub.kz, which is an information system and a convenient tool for collecting prices for 19 types of food and medicines by region.
The second is a web and mobile application dosmart.kz, which allows citizens to photograph and scan receipts and send them to the system. For each receipt from the partner stores of the system, a citizen receives cashbacks and bonuses that can be used for various purposes.
Third, the Ministry is now actively working on the involvement of interested state bodies, data owners in the field of trade. At the moment, the platform eprice.gov.kz receives and uses data for analysis from the systems of the BNS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Fourth, work is being carried out on web scraping of retail chain sites to collect data on prices for NWPT goods.
The results of the analysis and visualization of data on the comparison of prices for NWT can be seen on the platform eprice.gov.kz.
At the moment, a pilot version of the Analytical Trading Platform has also been launched, which is a single source of trade data and which allows you to generate analytics and modeling of incoming data. The platform is available for use by government agencies.
