Public reception: increases the efficiency of the state agency's work with business on integration issues

On July 22, 2021, a regular meeting of the Public Reception of the Ministry of Trade and Integration was held with the participation of entrepreneurs from the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, as well as Zhambyl and East Kazakhstan regions.

The public reception is a platform for open discussions, which allows entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan to voice their ideas and problems within the framework of the EAEU.

Within the framework of this Public Reception, business raised problematic issues of exporting Kazakhstani goods to the EAEU countries. In particular, the establishment by the EAEU countries of various restrictions in the field of public procurement, which complicates access for our suppliers, in the difficulty of obtaining special permits for the transportation of raw materials from the border of Kazakhstan, and others.

In addition, to protect the national market, our entrepreneurs proposed to establish temporary restrictions on oilseed raw materials in the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to support domestic producers of oilseed products.

The Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration provided relevant explanations on all the questions asked in real time.

At the end of the meeting, Zhanel Kushukova said that the voiced questions of entrepreneurs will be taken under the control of the Ministry of Trade and Integration.

In order to promptly resolve the issues raised by the Kazakh business, the Ministry will hold additional meetings with the participation of state bodies, at the Government level, as well as, if necessary, at the EEC site, following the results of which entrepreneurs will be informed about the progress of solving the voiced problems.

Such a format of interaction with business shows practical efficiency and high interest. We note that the meetings of the Public Reception are held on an ongoing basis.

In the near future, a meeting will be held with entrepreneurs of the Karaganda, Akmola regions and the city of Nur-Sultan. The date of the event will be announced later
