The app «Traveling without COVID-19» has become available for Kazakhstanis

Since June of this year, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been able to freely carry out business and personal trips to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

To do this, you need to install the «Traveling without COVID-19» app on your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play.

On the smartphone screen, the user will be able to choose where and where they want to travel, after which a list of the nearest verified laboratories for the PCR test will be displayed.

The result of the PCR test in the form of a unique QR code will be saved in the app and will be valid for 72 hours.

This QR code is necessary when crossing the state border between countries in order to provide regulatory authorities with information about human health. The regulatory authorities will be able to verify the result of the PCR test using this QR code

Thus, the user will comply with the existing sanitary and epidemiological standards for making business and personal trips.

At the first stage, the application allows for air travel between the EAEU Member States. Currently, the issue of using this application for the movement of citizens by other modes of transport (railway and auto) is being discussed.

The mobile app «Traveling without COVID-19» was developed by the Eurasian Development Bank and is used in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

It is assumed that in the future, the geographical "coverage" of the application will increase, thereby enabling citizens to visit countries outside the EEU without hindrance.
