Ministry of Trade - The "Made in KZ" platform will open on the KazanExpress marketplace»

Kazan - April 29, 2021. Today, Kazakhstan and Tatarstan are discussing the development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres. Thus, the Trade Mission of Kazakhstan in Russia organized a number of meetings between the heads of Kazakh and Tatar companies and departments.

During his visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov held a meeting with the co-founder and management of the KazanExpress marketplace, during which he was presented with the company's activities, as well as its development plans.
So, as the company said, within the framework of cross-border cooperation, the marketplace plans to open pick-up points in the cities of Uralsk, Aktobe and Petropavlovsk.

Bakhyt Sultanov, in turn, noted the existing development potential, and also suggested considering the possibility of participating in the development of a network of fullfillment centers in Kazakhstan.

Today KazanExpress is one of the young fast-growing marketplaces in Russia, covering more than 52 cities in Russia, which actively cooperates with AliExpress and many logistics companies in Russia. The revenue growth of this platform in 2020 was more than 900%. The site employs more than 3,000 entrepreneurs and has about 500 points of delivery of goods.

Bakhyt Sultanov noted that some joint work has already begun. Earlier, the Trade Representative Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, together with QazTrade and KazanExpress, held the first webinar for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs interested in trading on the marketplace site.

Thanks to the work carried out, some Kazakhstani companies are already developing this sales channel and with the assistance of the Trade Representative Office, it is planned to open sales of Kazakh tea products in kazanexpress.

And today, during the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a dedicated platform "Made in KZ" in the online store "kazanexpress" to promote Kazakhstani goods. To do this, the Trade Representative office in Kazan will organize the consolidated delivery of a trial batch of goods for subsequent testing of sales of Kazakhstani goods.
