The ministers discussed the access of Kazakh agricultural products to the Chinese market

Nur-Sultan, April 27, 2021 - House of Ministries. The Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov held online talks with the Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Wang Wentao on the development of trade and economic cooperation between the countries.

The Ministers of the two countries noted the great potential in the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and the possibility of increasing the supply of high-quality agricultural products to China.

"To fully realize the potential of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the Chinese side needs assistance in accessing Kazakhstan's agricultural products to the Chinese market," said the Minister of Trade and Integration B. Sultanov.

Kazakhstan also expressed its interest in supplying various crop products to China, which are also distinguished by high quality characteristics.

Earlier, agreements on the development of agricultural trade were reached within the framework of the 11th meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee.
