The Ministry of Trade holds an expert meeting of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council

On April 1, 2021, under the chairmanship of Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Torebayev Kairat from the Kazakh side and Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Akhmatov Sultan from the Kyrgyz side, a meeting of experts of the Kazakh - Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council was held, the press service of the ministry reports.

The purpose of the meeting was to agree on the final document of the
9th meeting of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council, scheduled for April 2, 2021 in the village of Kordai with the participation of the Prime Ministers of the two countries.

The agenda of the IGC meeting covers almost all areas of bilateral cooperation: trade and economic cooperation, agriculture, transport, energy, water resources, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, etc.

The Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a working body of the Council.
