Bakhyt Sultanov held a personal reception of citizens
Today, on March 26, 2021, the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov, received the President of the Kazakhstan Association of Sugar, Food and Processing Industry, Naurzgalieva Aizhan, as part of a personal reception of citizens.
Aizhan Naurzgalieva made a topical issue regarding the implementation of the "Global G. A. P" system of agricultural practice in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also proposed to create a national working group to prepare an interpretative document for the implementation of "Global G. A. P".
According to her, the Kazakh business has a great interest in the implementation of this standard. For example, the company "NACAgro" has already been certified and entered the register of Global G. A. P, which gives it the opportunity to expand its export potential not only to the Russian Federation, but also to foreign countries. There is also interest in Kazakh agricultural products from Polish and Turkish consumers, but subject to the availability of a Global G. A. P. certificate, the company "GREENEX" engaged in the supply of lettuce in Almaty is carrying out similar work.
Answering the question, the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov, said that the department was working on the implementation of the system of agricultural practice "Global G. A. P". It is noted that the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MTI of the Republic of Kazakhstan held 2 webinars to familiarize farmers with this system, representatives of the OUL, NАЕ "Atameken" and САB, as well as 3 expert auditors were trained in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
"As you know, the principle of standardization and certification of "Global G. A. P" is voluntary. We need an initiative on the part of business, i.e. manufacturers and exporters, in order to determine the list of products, the sales market and what requirements we will jointly begin to select, " Bakhyt Sultanov said.
In addition, the head of the department supported the initiative to create an appropriate working group in a number of areas, with the involvement of interested central state bodies.
Bakhyt Sultanov noted that the Ministry is ready to participate in the development of the "Global G. A. P" standard and the accreditation of CAB.
In conclusion, the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov instructed the Technical Regulation Committee, together with the Ministries of Agriculture and Health, to analyze the national legislation for compliance with the requirements of Global G. A. P., to assist in the approval of the national standard and to create a working group under the Ministry of Trade and Integration with the involvement of business.
