Today, the Kazakh government delegation, chaired by the Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov, held talks in Bishkek on the synchronization of the commodity distribution systems of the two countries
Bakhyt Sultanov discussed the prospects of integration of commodity distribution systems with Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Karmyshakov, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarbek Dzhanybekov, Minister of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnar Abdralieva, Minister of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubanychbek Turdubayev.
"This will not only ensure the food security of our states, but also significantly expand the export potential of our two countries," Sultanov said.
In particular, the synchronization of commodity distribution systems will facilitate the flow of goods from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to the Russian market. "Common rules for the functioning of the NTS and ensuring the interaction of common standards will allow us to avoid "bottlenecks" in the supply of our goods to the Russian market, eliminate interruptions in supplies, as well as saturate our own markets during the off - season," the head of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.
In addition, the Kazakh business expressed interest in creating the infrastructure of the commodity distribution system of Kyrgyzstan.
Industrial cooperation in the processing of dairy and agricultural products will contribute to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Bakhyt Sultanov proposed to revise the concept of the future joint Trade and logistics center.
"We propose not to limit ourselves to the functionality of the TLC, as a place for storing products, but to work out the opening of joint ventures for the processing of agricultural products, for example, vegetables and fruits, and the production of pasta. Joint projects in the light industry are promising. Such joint ventures will allow us to jointly enter the markets of third countries, " the head of the Kazakh delegation said.
At the same time, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan need to continue cooperation on veterinary and phytosanitary measures. Working together to control the non-proliferation of animal diseases and quarantine facilities will greatly facilitate access to export markets. Nur-Sultan is ready to join efforts to combat falsified agricultural products that do not meet the requirements of technical regulations.
For the successful development of the agro-industrial complex of the two countries, it is also necessary to ensure the rational use of water resources of transboundary rivers.
Bakhyt Sultanov expressed hope that in the upcoming growing season, water supply will be provided to water management facilities of interstate use in accordance with the approved schedules.
He also called on the Kyrgyz side to comply with the terms of the Protocol on the Exchange of Electricity, signed during the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan on March 2 this year. This Protocol provides for the strengthening of water and energy cooperation between the two states.
During the negotiations at the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kazakh delegation raised the topic of protecting the interests of Kazakh investments in Kyrgyzstan. The parties agreed to develop a Roadmap for solving all problematic issues within the framework of a specially created working group.
