A meeting was held on the preparation for the 1st meeting of the Kazakh-Turkish Working Group on the elimination of non-tariff and technical barriers

On February 26, this year, the Ministry of trade and integration of Kazakhstan held an expert meeting with the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey representatives for the preparation for the 1st meeting of the Kazakh-Turkish Working Group on the Elimination of Non-tariff and Technical Barriers.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged lists of potential products for export, and also agreed to prepare and transmit lists of potential exporters and importers for further dynamic cooperation.

In order to expand the range of goods supplied to the markets of Kazakhstan and Turkey, further plans for cooperation in identifying technical and non-tariff barriers to trade were discussed.

Representatives of the organizations of the two countries on technical regulation and metrology considered the possibility of signing a Memorandum in the field of technical regulation, standardization, certification and metrology.
