QazTrade negotiates with Almaty exporters

General Director of «Center for Trade Policy Development «QazTrade» JSC Azamat Askaruly held a series of meetings in Almaty with kazakh exporters, as well as international organizations.

Thus, at a meeting with the management of «PC «AGF Group» LLP - the largest specialized clothing factory for the production of home textiles in Kazakhstan - entrepreneurs spoke about the barriers, restrictions and obstacles to entry into the markets of the European Union and North America. «PC «AGF Group» LLP has been recognized as complying with advanced international quality standards and has been cooperating with IKEA Russia since 2015, producing and supplying home textiles. 

During the visit to the Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant, there was a discussion about localizing the production of car parts, reimbursing exporters and increasing exports.

The head of «QazTrade» also met with the head of the German Economy in Central Asia Hovsep Voskanyan, with whom he discussed expansion of trade cooperation between businessmen of our countries, as well as the possibility of B2B meetings between entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and Germany.

Azamat Askaruly also discussed with representatives of the World Bank on the development of sustainable trade and regional development the opportunities offered by the WB to stimulate the expansion of regional trade.
