Promotion of Kazakhstan's exports in Poland

Warsaw, February 10, 2021-An online video conference was held with the participation of Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Assel Zhanasova and President of the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Janusz Pehoczynski.

The event was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Poland in order to promote Kazakhstan's non-oil exports to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

In his welcoming speech, Kazakh Ambassador Alim Kirabayev stressed the importance of expanding the volume and range of Kazakhstan's non-primary exports to European countries. He noted that this event is part of the Embassy's comprehensive plan to bring Kazakh goods to European markets. So, at the end of January 2021, the Embassy organized a teleconference with the participation of MIT RK and leadership of Poland's largest platform for the online trading "Allegro". As a result of these agreements, a webinar will be organized, during which Allegro specialists will tell Kazakh exporters about the opportunities and conditions of listing on the specified trading platform.

Ya. Pehochinsky proposed to organize joint work on creating favorable conditions for Kazakh exporters to bring their products first to Polish and then to other European markets. He noted the importance of gaining competencies and experience in working with European government agencies in the field of licensing system, requirements for certificates and standards, as well as image and logistics promotion of Kazakhstani goods on the Polish market.

The parties discussed the proposals made and decided to develop a" road map " of joint actions to organize the supply of goods from Kazakh manufacturers to the Polish market.
