Applications for the reimbursement of costs for entrepreneurs are now being opened in January 2021

JSC «Trade Policy Development Centre «Qaztrade», the Operator of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the promotion of domestic processed goods to foreign markets, announces the opening of applications for reimbursement of costs in the period from January 26, 2021 9.00 hours to June 1, 2021 17.00 hours.

The following types of costs are reimbursable:

1) Costs associated with the promotion of goods abroad;

2) Costs of direct participation in foreign exhibitions, forums, fairs, competitions and congresses;

3) The costs of developing, translating and publishing a specialized catalogue for distribution abroad;

4) Costs of maintaining branches, representations, commercial spaces, warehouses and shelves abroad;

5) Costs of procedures for the registration of trademarks abroad on electronic trading platforms;

6) Сosts of carrying out activities related to the procedures for the confirmation of conformity of goods with the requirements of technical regulations, standards, including the organization’s standards, or the terms of the contracts or the confirmation of the right to carry out sales activities abroad (certificates, permits, registration certificates and other documents)as well as the costs incurred in delivering to and from the test site sample products for the certification procedure (if a certificate or other supporting document is available);

7) Costs associated with procedures for authorization to use objects of exclusive rights (franchising) abroad;

8) Costs associated with foreign certification, accreditation and inspection of industrial innovation entities (if certification, accreditation, inspection and the presence of a certificate or other supporting document are approved);

9) Costs related to the delivery of goods and the payment of transportation services by road, rail, air, sea and transport organization.

According to data for 2020, 1,145 applications from 377 industrial and innovation agents were received. Of those, 487 applications were approved from 216 industrial and innovation agents, including:

 

1) 51 applications for the promotion of domestically processed goods;

2) 442 requests for delivery of domestically processed goods.

 

Note: Six applications were submitted by entities for multi-cost reimbursement, resulting in 493 approved cost recovery and 487 approved requests.

 

The reimbursement of the some of the costs for industrial and innovation entities (conditions and mechanism, including application form and accompanying documents) is made in accordance with the Rules for Reimbursement of the some of the Costs for Industrial and Innovation Entities for the promotion of domestic processed goods, approved by the Order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30 2015 No. 1128.
