Business asks the Ministry of Trade for help

Today, Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov held a meeting with the business community, public associations for the protection of consumer rights and subjects of accreditation within the framework of a working visit to Almaty region.

Entrepreneurs and public figures voiced to Minister Sultanov the urgent problems and their initiatives to resolve them.

For example, a representative of the testing laboratory of Sarsha LLP raised the issue of the quality of imported cement. "For many years, there was an acute issue of the quality of imported cement," a representative of Kopania told the minister.

The Association of Cement and Concrete Producers "Qazcem" together with the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee has been working on this solution for a long time through the development of a national standard for confirming the conformity of cements.

This year, thanks to the introduction of the ST RK on the initiative of the Association "Qazcem", the volume of non-certified products decreased to 95%, and the volume of imports fell almost 3 times." We support the position of the Association of Cement and Concrete Producers " Qazcem "and ask the Minister to pay attention to the cement market and the detection of falsification in the framework of the implementation of the new law"On Technical Regulation".
