The Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched a platform for monitoring and analyzing prices for socially important products and medicines.
Derekhub Platform.kz involves collecting price information from various sources.
As the Deputy Director of the Department of internal trade of the Ministry of trade Yerlan Yeshnazarov explained, at the first stage we invite all trade objects (shops at home and retail chains) to independently post information on prices for NWPT on their shelves on the portal. "Each point of sale can independently register in the system, having received its personal account. And then fill out a form of 19 socially significant food products, indicating the availability and minimum price of the product."
The completed data is analyzed automatically and allows you to track price changes in the dynamics.
“The idea of such a platform finally took shape during the pandemic. This year, due to a sharp and significant rise in the price of goods and medicines from 10 to 30%, in the spring, limit prices were introduced for a number of goods throughout the country, now limit prices are set in some regions. But to check the retention of prices within the established limits, akimats need to conduct random checks. The availability of such system allows to remotely monitor the prices", - said Yerlan Eshnazarov.
According to the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is also planned to integrate the derekhub platform.kz with information systems of tax services of the state revenue Committee. This will allow us to analyze the most complete picture of pricing for socially important food products.
Derekhub Platform.kz also provides a number of services for companies that register in the system and fill out information about the cost and inventory of socially significant goods.
So, the companies participating in the platform will be able to get access to a free business support hotline for legal issues, a free subscription to the cloud fiscal tool and the Dosmart loyalty card, credit products without collateral and payment tools from Alfa Bank. In addition, companies will also have access to regular analytical reports on market prices for NWPT.
