MTI held in online format the 4th annual meeting of the EU – Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee in Trade Configuration (CCTC)

On October 9,2020 the 4th annual meeting of the EU – Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee in Trade Configuration (CCTC) was held under the chairmanship of the Trade and integration Vice-Minister Torebayev K. The European side will be Co-chaired by Mr Timo HAMMAREN, Co-Chair, Acting Head of the Unit “Southern neighbors, Middle East, Turkey, Russia and Central Asia”. The meeting was also participated by representatives of Kazakhstani state authorities.

At the meeting the parties discussed trade and investment issues with European Union, sanitary and phytosanitary issues, «recycling fee” for agricultural machinery, transit through the Russian Federation etc. Following this meeting, the Protocol was prepared for further cooperation with the European community.
