This is to inform citizens that a draft order of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to the Order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 2018 No. 918 "On Approval of the Rules for the Development, Coordination, Examination, Approval, Registration, Accounting, Amendment, Revision, Cancellation and Enactment of National Standards (except for military national standards), National Classifiers of Technical and Economic Information and Recommendations for Standardization, as well as the Procedure for Making Amendments and Additions to the General Classifier of Goods, Works and Services" (hereinafter – the draft Order)

This is to inform citizens that a draft order of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to the Order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 2018 No. 918 "On Approval of the Rules for the Development, Coordination, Examination, Approval, Registration, Accounting, Amendment, Revision, Cancellation and Enactment of National Standards (except for military national standards), National Classifiers of Technical and Economic Information and Recommendations for Standardization, as well as the Procedure for Making Amendments and Additions to the General Classifier of Goods, Works and Services" (hereinafter – the draft Order)

The draft order provides for improving the accuracy of classification and identification of goods, as well as ensuring a uniform approach to their description by taking into account the main characteristics of goods in the GCPWS.

It is also proposed to apply the main characteristics of goods in regulated procurement from the moment the relevant amendments come into effect, which will allow for a more precise definition of the procurement subject and uniformity of requirements for goods.
