Gabit Mukhambetov appointed head of RSE " Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology»

At the Reference center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Minister of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov introduced the new head of the newly formed RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology" - Gabit Mukhambetov, appointed General Director of the enterprise.

 

In his opening speech, the Minister noted the special role of the technical regulation system in almost all sectors of the economy, and therefore issues of further reform of the system play a decisive role in trade, increasing export potential and integration processes of world economies.

 

Introducing the new head of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology", Bakhyt Sultanov noted that Gabit Mukhambetov has extensive managerial experience not only in the system of technical regulation, but also in working in the regions.

 

Gabit Mukhambetov graduated from the Kazakh state national University (1999), (with a degree in Economics), and the Kazakh state law Academy (2001) (with a degree in law). PhD in economics.

 

In different years worked as a specialist of RSE "Kazakhstan centre for standardisation, Metrology and certification" Committee on standardization, Metrology and certification of Ministry of energy, industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1999); specialist, main specialist, head of Department of Committee on standardization, Metrology and certification of Ministry of energy, industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (01.2000-04.2001);

 

Head of the Department Of the Committee for standardization, Metrology and certification of the Ministry of economy and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2002);

General Director of RSE " Kazakhstan Institute of Metrology "(2003-2005);

Chairman Of the Committee on technical regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (10.2005-2011);

Deputy akim of Karaganda region (from 01.2011);

First Deputy akim of the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan (07.2012-06.2014)

General Director of national accreditation center LLP (since 2019)
