The Board of appeal left unchanged the court's decision on the claim of CСP to JSC «Bek Air»

On October 15, 2020, the final session of the Board of appeal for civil cases of the Almaty city court was held. The court decided to leave the decision of the court of first instance unchanged, and the appeal of JSC «Bek Air» without satisfaction. The court's decision comes into force from the moment of announcement.

Recalling you that the Committee for consumer protection (hereinafter - CCP) filed a suit in court on February 21, 2020, in which represented the interests of 909 consumers who bought tickets in the amount of 54.2 million tenge.

On June 17, 2020, the Turksib district court of Almaty granted the claim of the CCP, to which JSC «Bek Air» filed an appeal on July 15, 2020.

In addition, we inform you that the appeal Board of the Almaty city court is considering the appeal of «Bek Air» JSC to the second claim of the CCP. The next meeting was scheduled for 12:40 p.m. on October 21 2020.

The third claim against JSC «Bek Air» is being considered by the Turksib district court of Almaty, in which CCP represents the interests of 535 consumers, the amount of the claim is 33.8 million tenge. The next meeting was scheduled for 15:00 p.m.  on october 28 2020.
