On October16th, the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan B.Sultanov, during his working visit, met the Secretary General of the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance Markus Biedermann.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and financial spheres. The Kazakh minister handed the Liechtenstein party an official letter on the exclusion of Liechtenstein from the list of jurisdictions with preferential taxation.

The Liechtenstein side gratefully accepted this decision, noting that it will become one of the effective steps to expand business ties between the two countries. In particular, this will enable to intensify direct deliveries of goods from Liechtenstein to Kazakhstan and interaction in the financial and credit sphere.

B.Sultanov invited the Liechtenstein business to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Kazakhstan, taking into account membership in the EAEU and a key position on the New Silk Road. The development of cooperation at the AIFC site was identified as one of the most promising areas.
