On October 7 and 8, 2020 the Ministry of Trade and Integration jointly with QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC holds a training webinar for local companies of Kazakhstan willing to offer their goods via Alibaba.com Internet platform. Total number of webinar participants is over 150 companies.
The Ministry has proactively provided direct support for promotion of beginning and experienced entrepreneurs on Internet platforms. Alibaba.com is the largest global B2B platform allowing importers and exporters worldwide to exchange their business information and close wholesale deals.
The event was designed to show companies from Kazakhstan how the largest B2B platform can be used for export of local producers to global markets. E-commerce has erased borders and made cheaper process of trans-border commerce, which is especially vital during period of Corona virus crisis.
Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Askaruly has given the green light to the event. The webinar has also announced a launch of the second phase of the program for 50 companies from Kazakhstan to join Alibaba.com Internet platform. Given companies within the first phase, total number of Kazakhstan’s companies on the platform will reach 100. As the number of local companies on Alibaba.com grows, the platform will create a Kazakhstan pavilion.
Program operator in Kazakhstan is QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC. Export.gov.kz accepts online applications until 17 October inclusive.
