Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliev met with residents and business representatives of the Karaganda region

During the meeting, Arman Shakkaliev focused on the indicators of the trade sector for 7 months. For seven months of 2025, investments in trade exceeded 522.5 billion tenge. This is 31.7% more than in the same period last year. During this period, domestic trade turnover increased by 13.9%. In the Karaganda region, trade turnover exceeded 2 billion tenge in January-July of this year.

“The infrastructure of foreign trade is developing. Our ministry organizes trade and economic missions abroad. This year, more than 140 domestic companies took part in them. As part of the export acceleration program in 2025, 120 companies were selected, 10 of which are from Karaganda,” the minister noted.

After that, Arman Shakkaliev held a personal reception of citizens. At a personal meeting with the minister, citizens raised issues such as a 15% trade surcharge on socially significant food products, the promotion of non-resource exports, and obtaining state support for the modernization of markets.
