September 23, 2020 Employees of the Ministry of trade and integration participated in the 23rd meeting of the industry Advisory Committee, chaired by a member of the Board (Minister) Kamalyan A. K.
The agenda of the meeting consisted of 10 issues on which a substantive discussion of industrial policy and industrial cooperation of the EAEU member States took place.
In particular, the parties agreed to extend for three years the conditions for applying the criterion of admissibility of a specific subsidy for jointly produced goods, which will give an additional impetus to the development of cooperative relations between enterprises of the EAEU member States.
Also in order to fulfill the instructions of the heads of government
as of August 9, 2019, experts of the member States supported the conduct of research work aimed at studying the prospects for creating Eurasian companies, which will determine the feasibility of creating supranational forms of legal entities within the EAEU.
The meeting also considered reports of the Eurasian economic Commission on the results of monitoring the industrial products market for 2019 and the results of monitoring and analysis of the Main areas of industrial cooperation for 2019.
The conclusions of the reports based on statistical data show a positive trend in the current development of industrial cooperation. In particular, there is an increase in production volumes in most industries, an increase in the volume of mutual trade in industrial products.
In addition, during the discussions, the parties agreed that the approval of the draft Concept for the creation of the Eurasian jewelry export Bureau and the draft of the Main directions of industrial cooperation within the EAEU until 2025 is premature, since these documents require additional expert study.
The revised documents will be re-submitted to the members of the Advisory Committee in the fourth quarter of this year.
