THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM «SMART CITY» IN SINGAPORE

On 13 July 2016 in Singapore it will be held the International Forum «Smart city» organized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in cooperation with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU). Forum partners are American National Standards Institute (ANSI), European Committee for Standardization/European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CEN/CENELEC), European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), US Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA) and Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). The Forum will be held on a common platform with the World Cities Summit and the World Water Week in Singapore that are annual platform for discussing issues of planning and infrastructure of world cities.

The Forum is an open online platform for discussion of issues in the field of developing “smart” cities. In the framework of the Forum it has been defined four discussing directions by the organizers as «transport/mobility», «water and energy», «cyber security» in “smart” cities. Each registered Forum participant has possibility to contribute on the Forum website online. Registration for the participation in the Forum is open for everyone through www.worldsmartcity.org and it is free till 1 July 2016.

Expenditures for transport, accommodation and meals for the participation in this Forum are to pay by the participants themselves.
