On anti-corruption measures

On August 17, this year, the Department Of the Committee for technical regulation and Metrology of the Almaty region held a technical training on the topics of anti-Corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and compliance with ethics and standards of behavior of civil servants.

Head of the Department Bakhitzhan Mukhtarov explained the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on anti-corruption". He drew the attention of specialists to compliance with the norms of ethics of civil servants, the relationship between colleagues and the principles of service and off-duty relationships. He also noted that the highest ethics and professionalism are the key criteria for creating an effective state apparatus .

In accordance with paragraph 5 of article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on anti-corruption", state bodies conduct an internal analysis of corruption risks and take measures to eliminate identified inconsistencies.

The meeting discussed the results of internal analysis of corruption risks of the Department and the measures taken to prevent and eliminate them.
