KAZAKHSTAN IMPROVED ITS POSITIONS IN THE WORLD RATING OF AIR FLIGHTS SAFETY.

By results of validation mission of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in June of 2014 took off the major airworthiness notes. Compliance percentage of Civil Aviation Committee of MID RK activity to ICAO standards from 47% to 65%. It was informed by the Head of department Beken Seidakhmetov «Furthermore, the middle world indicator corresponds to 60%. Further position improvement works is continuing. The aim – to reach 80% to 2020» - noted CAC Chairman when spoke on the press conference today in Astana. He also informed that jointly with experts technical cooperation bureau of ICAO recertification of all air companies was made. And if in 2009 there were 70 in the country, then in 2015 it remained 45 air companies.

«In order to experience exchange collaborative works were organized with aviation authorities with Turkey, France on the matter of airworthiness support», - noted CAC Chairman of MID RK Beken Seidakhmetov. After elimination of all notices in 2014 restrictions on flight operations to EU countries of «Air Astana» JSC was removed. Terewith, the works on Implement corrections plan of ICAO on flight operation (air company certification). CAC of MID RK has already directed a letter confirming the readiness to conduct ICAO validation mission.

 

 

At the present time reconstruction of flight strips in 13 airports of 18 (in the airports of Aktobe, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Astana, Aktau, Almaty, Karaganda, Shymkent, Zhezkazgan, Taraz, Taldykorgan, Kokshetau).

 

 

«Until 2020 reconstruction of flight strips of the airports of Semey, Kostanay and Ust-Kamenogorsk», - added Beken Seidakhmetov.

 

 

Within the Address of the Head of the Government «Nurly Zhol – the path to future» is prescribed a reconstruction of passenger terminal in local airport. Project aim – widening of existed passenger terminal and bringing of acceptance rate from 750 pass/h to 1750 pass/h or 7 mln. passengers in a year.

 

 

Furthermore, in the current year reconstruction of passenger terminal in Taraz city will be completed at the expense of owner, as well as flight strips of Uralsk airport. The next year reconstructed flight strips of Petropavlovsk city will be put into commission. Let us remind, that repair was started in the current year.
