DURING THE YEARS OF REALIZATION OF INDUSTRIALIZATION PROGRAM IN RK AROUND 125,4 BLN.DOLLARS OF DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENTS WERE ATTRACTED

There are 212 bln. USD of direct foreign investments were attracted the Kazakhstan economy in the period from 2005 until I quarter of 2015. Almost 70% of which or 125,4 bln. USD were attracted during the years of Industrialization program realization. During this time, the share of direct investment in the manufacturing sector was 74%, or 17,6 bln. USD. Let us add that according to the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Kazakhstan joined the 30 countries with the highest volume of attracted net foreign direct investment. 28th place and 9,6 bln. USD at the end of 2014.

FOR THE REFERENCE: In 2014 Kazakhstan has attracted 3,7 bln. USD. investment in manufacturing industry, this is for 48% more compared to the year 2013 (2,5 bln. dollars). As a result, MID RK managed to change the structure of investment, thanks to the measures taken in the framework of SPAIID.
