Meeting on the development of the electric car industry in Kazakhstan

On December 24, a workshop on the development of the electric car industry and related service and charging infrastructure was held in the ZOOM conference mode.

The meeting, which was opened with a welcoming speech by the Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology A.Abenov, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, MIIR, manufacturers of motor vehicles, technical committees, the operator of the ESS ROP.

Deputy Director General of KazStandart S.Radaev made a report on the development of environmentally neutral vehicles in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the discussion, issues of improving legislation to ensure the development of the ecological transport market, the use of measures to stimulate the production of such vehicles and charging infrastructure were raised.

Following the meeting, it was decided to develop a number of recommendations and send them to the authorized body for transport development - the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
