Working meeting with the EEC

On June 10, this year, a working meeting with representatives of the Department of Technical Regulation and Accreditation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) was held at the site of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the EEC, MTI RK, KTRM MTI RK, Kazstandart, NCA, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, MOE RK, MIIR RK, MOH RK and others.
The Chairman of the KTRM of the MTI RK A. Abenov made a welcoming speech.
During the meeting, issues related to amendments to the Treaty on the EAEU were considered, taking into account the proposals of NCE "Atameken" regarding the inclusion of reference interstate standards in the technical regulations of the Union, proposals for the introduction of other standards on products in terms of labeling.
We discussed the current situation of the implementation of the pilot project on the formation of a system for informing about products that do not meet the requirements of the technical regulations of the EAEU.
The participants spoke about the current problem in terms of combining the national and EAEU systems.
They also discussed the creation of a system of reference laboratories within the EAEU, common approaches to the organization of calibration of measuring instruments and electronic commerce.
As a result of the meeting, the participants decided to continue the discussion of these issues on the EAEU platform with the participation of all members of the Union.
