DISCUSSION OF THE TECHNICAL REGULATIONS OF THE UNIFIED ENERGY SYSTEM OF UKRAINE"ON THE SAFETY OF FISH AND FISH PRODUCTS"

April 5, 2017 in Aralsk, Kyzylorda Oblast, a round table was held with a message on the explanation of the TP of the EAPS "On the Safety of Fish and Fish Products" for the subjects of the fish industry in Kyzylorda Oblast.

The round table was organized by the Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology in Kyzylorda Oblast in conjunction with the KF RSE "Kazakhstan Institute for Standardization and Certification" with the support of the Aral Division of Agriculture.

The purpose of the round table is discussion of problematic issues on adaptation and introduction of the technical regulation of the EAPS "On the safety of fish and fish products" at enterprises and organizations of Kyzylorda oblast.

To date, fisheries have become one of the branches of agriculture in the region. Fisheries provide economic development and improve the social conditions of the population of the region, as well as an important role in ensuring their employment. Because on the shores of the Aral Sea and the Syr Darya River, the life of the local population is closely linked to fishing.

During the round table it was explained that live fish related to the product of fishery before going into circulation should undergo a period of biological treatment to exclude the presence of food in the stomach and intestines. Many innovations in the TR of the EAEC are now associated with the marking and packaging of fish products. On the labels must be placed comprehensive information about the product. Therefore, the manufacturer must indicate not only the type of product, but also the zoological name of the fish. Belonging to the area should also be flaunted on labels - the technical regulations stipulate that fish should be caught only in safe mining areas.

The procedure for assessing (confirming) the compliance of food fish products was also clarified in detail. Food fish products before release into circulation in the territory of the Union are subject to conformity assessment, confirmation of compliance of food fish products is carried out in the form of declaration of conformity.

An exchange of views took place on the requirements of the TRP of the EAEC "On the Safety of Fish and Fish Products", full answers were given to all questions.
