Signed a Memorandum of Understanding

The Department of the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MTI RK for North Kazakhstan Region and Velta LLP (TD "Pyramid") signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of quality control and safety of goods sold, as well as protection of consumer rights from unreliable measurement results.

The Memorandum was signed in order to implement the provisions of the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Technical Regulation» and "On ensuring the uniformity of measurements", as well as taking into account the importance of improving the competitiveness of consumer goods sold in the markets, trade enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, recognizing the need to protect consumers from unsafe and low-quality products, unreliable measurement results, preventing violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation and metrology.

The parties agreed to establish a mechanism for consultative cooperation in order to protect consumers from unsafe and low-quality products sold on the territory of the Pyramid Trading House and to prevent violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation and metrology.

Within the framework of the signed Memorandum, the Department will conduct information, explanatory, consulting and preventive work in the form of meetings, seminars, round tables, meetings with individual entrepreneurs in order to clarify the requirements of legislation in the field of technical regulation and metrology.

The administration, in turn, will take measures to ensure the sale on the territory of the TD of products that meet the requirements of safety and quality, certified (declared) products that are subject to mandatory confirmation of compliance. Place information stands with extracts from the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Technical Regulation", "On Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements", as well as phone numbers of the Department of the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Technical Regulation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the North Kazakhstan Region for contacting consumers in case of questions regarding the sale of unsafe and low-quality products, body kit and deception of consumers in the implementation of trade and commercial operations, assist in explaining legislation in the field of technical regulation, ensuring the uniformity of measurements for tenants and visitors of the TD.
