ROUND TABLE MEETING ON TECHNICAL REGULATION AND METROLOGY

On March 31, 2017, the Atyrau branch of the RSE "KazInSt" jointly with the DKTPM for Atyrau region held a round table on technical regulation and metrology on the following issues:

1. On compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements" of June 7, 2000, No. 53-II, when equipment of oil products bases and gasoline stations is equipped with control devices for recording production facilities;

2. Discussion of the project of the TP of the EAEC "On the safety of natural gas fuel prepared for transportation and (or) use";

3. Discussion of the project of the TP EAEC "On the requirements for trunk pipelines for the transport of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons";

4. On making proposals - applications for the development of national standards for inclusion in the State Standardization Plan for 2018-2019.

As you know, Atyrau is the main oil producing region of the country, therefore representatives of the leading enterprises of the region were gathered.

For example, the head of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Atyrau region, the head of the Department for Consumer Rights Protection of the Atyrau oblast, representatives of the AF JSC "NACECC", LLP "ANPZ", AF LLP "Sinooil", LLP "Helios", LLP " KaspiyStroiNedvizhimost ", LLP" PSA Tendyk "and others.

The meeting was opened by M. Beketulla, the head of the department of the DKTPM for Atyrau region, explaining compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ensuring the uniformity of measurements". After the report, representatives of the tank farm PSA Tendyk LLP turned to Beketulla with a number of questions regarding the metrological characteristics of measuring instruments and interstate standards for these measuring instruments, to which the representative of DKRMM recommended sending an official letter describing all topical issues at RSE "KazInMetr".

Further, according to the agenda, representatives of the RSE "KazInSt" made reports on the draft technical regulations on the oil orientation. On the question of the representative of the AF of JSC "NACECC" Director of AF RGP "KazInSt" Du NI. Explained that at the moment the list of standards to the above regulations of the EAEC is at the stage of formation.

The procedure of the evaluation scheme (confirmation) of conformity to the two above-mentioned TRs of the EAEC was also explained in detail. The participants of the round table expressed their approval of the timeliness of the development of new technical regulations that are relevant for today in the oil and gas industry of the Atyrau region.
