NORTHERN CASPIAN FURNITURE PROFESSIONALS TO REQUIRE THE CUSTOMS UNION SPECIFICATIONS "ABOUT SAFETY OF FURNITURE PRODUCTS"

The Department of the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee for the North-Kazakhstan region together with the SCF RGP "KazInSt" in order to clarify the requirements of normative documents in the field of technical regulation, visited the furniture trading house "Levin" FE Levin VD. in the Kyzylzhar district of Byshkul village.

During the visit to the enterprise, the employees of the Department explained the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On the Safety of Furniture Production", as the main activity of the IP Levin VD. is the production of furniture products.

Assortment of manufactured products: office furniture (sofas, walls, computer tables, writing desks, office tables, meeting tables, pedestals, desks); furniture for the house (soft corners, sofas, mini sofas, walls in the living room, children's walls, cabinets, chests of drawers, beds, dining tables, stools). The market for production is quite extensive. There are trade points in the cities of Astana, Shymkent, Almaty, Karaganda.

Following the meeting, recommendations were given on the inclusion of the output of the United Catalog of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After visiting the enterprise the application for inclusion of the production in the catalog is submitted.
