Modern medicine is equipped with a huge number of measuring instruments. The accuracy of their indications depends on the correctness of the diagnosis and the effectiveness of the treatment prescribed by the doctor. It is no coincidence that measurements used in medicine and health care are covered by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ensuring the unity of Measurements", according to which one of the goals of ensuring the unity of measurements is to ensure reliable measurement results in the diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.
In order to clarify the requirements of this Law, employees of the Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Almaty region organized a meeting with the staff of the State Enterprise at the Ili Central District Hospital.
It is explained that on April 11, 2019, a new version of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements"came into force. In accordance with the amendments, the scope of state metrological control is determined by the Lists of measurements related to state regulation, which are formed by branch state bodies within their competence.
During the meeting, the issues of the availability of an agreed list of measuring instruments used, their verification schedules and their timely execution, the appointment of responsible persons for metrological support of measuring instruments were discussed. All this is the most important condition for compliance with the requirements of the Law.
The meeting was noted by the participants as productive, as they gave comprehensive answers to all the questions asked.
