Requirements for fire safety and extinguishing equipment

We all live in a modern and complex world, where, unfortunately, there are many dangers that lie in wait for us on the path of life. In order to protect yourself in a particular difficult situation or avoid it at all, you need to know: what are the emergencies and how to behave if there is trouble.

In this regard, the requirements of the technical regulation of the Eurasian economic Union "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment" (TR EAEU 043/2017), which entered into force on January 1, 2020, apply to fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment.

This technical regulation is designed to protect human life and / or health, property and the environment from fire, as well as to prevent actions that mislead consumers.

In addition, the technical regulations apply to fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment designed to prevent, reduce the risk of occurrence, limit the development of fire and the spread of its dangerous factors, to extinguish fire, save people, protect life and (or) human health, property and the environment from fire, as well as to reduce the risk of causing harm and (or) damage due to fire.

The technical regulations also establish: rules for identification of fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment, rules for handling fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment on the Union market, requirements for technical regulation objects, requirements for ensuring compliance of fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment with safety requirements, the procedure for assessing compliance of fire safety and fire extinguishing equipment.
